The Raytown Area Chamber of Commerce will partner with CareSpot, Graceway and Arvest Bank to put on the Raytown Health & Community Fair on Saturday, August 8, 2015; 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to be held at The Point, 5600 Blue Ridge Cutoff, Raytown.
This event will include some health screenings with educational information about various health areas along with community booths that have a product or service beneficial to the community. Listed below are some organizations that have been confirmed:
Arvest Bank will be grilling up hot dogs to hand out to those who attend; Raytown EMS will be on site providing general information along with car seat safety checks; Raytown Masonic Lodge will be providing child safety/identification kits among many other health and community areas, just to name a few.
REAP is collecting school supplies for children in the Raytown area! Our most needed items are spiral notebooks, index cards, Crayola markers (8 or 10 count), rulers, and glue. You can bring them to the event that day. Or you may drop them off at the Raytown Chamber office leading up to the event.
The health fair is free to attend to those who live within the Raytown Quality School District boundaries.
